Hello and thanks for stopping by. 

I'm Suneetha Malkani, my friends started calling me Sunny (I at one time owned a moped by that name too!)  a while ago and the name stuck. If u're wondering what a moped is .. I fished out an image link for you.   See it below.

I used to ride the Sunny when I started working at the age of 18, back in India, which is where I come from.  More specifically, I come from Hyderabad, and Bangalore.  Went to JNTU Hyderabad and IIM Bangalore.  Before this post starts sounding like my resume, let me get back to talking about the other Sunny. Riding one of those things on Indian roads is a hair-raising experience! I'll write about those stories one day.

Right now I live in breathtakingly beautiful Connecticut. Yes,  Connecticut winters and all notwithstanding!   Long as I don't have to commute. Which fortunately, I don't have to very often. I run Anvāsion Inc. a marketing consulting company out of the town where I live. I don't mind the best of both worlds at all. My Clients are mostly out of town, which is great, giving me a balance of work and travel.

When I was a teenager I used to sketch, paint, write short stories, and all the fun things a carefree teenager would, until I got caught up in life, instead of living!!  Now that teen years belong to my kids very soon, as they are relatively grown up, I'm starting to pursue my hobbies once again. Besides, writing posts on this blog helps me get out of my writer's block so I can tackle those nasty RFPs.

I also am writing two other stories, one for my kids (no, not a Harry Potter sequel!) and one for myself. These are long-term endeavors,  so hopefully once I complete my work on them, I'll write about it here again.

Why the name MythicalMommy?  My daughter had this funny jingle she had made up, which she sang as a I child where she called herself  'mythical' ... and my husband calls her 'mommy'  because she resembles his Mom indeed.   She wanted me to create a website for her, which instigated me to start blogging. So here I am a MythicalMommy blogger I guess!

None of the posts here likely merit any serious attention, this being only a simple pastime of mine. If you do like something however, do share it along!
